Our Mission is to save lives by increasing access to professional tick testing for physicians, veterinarians, and the public. Tick Born Illness represents a significant health threat to both humans and our furry friends. I've been a Dermatologist for 14 years in Tulsa, Oklahoma where I see and treat Tick Borne Illness. Starting Testmytick.com with my wife Rachel, was a effort to educate about Tick Borne Illness and offer professional tick testing to others. I was taught a Hunter Safety course by a Game Ranger while a Boy Scout(Troop #470) in Wilburton, Oklahoma. I found out later that he died of Lyme Disease. These events were and are a driving force to help others. Through my experiences as a Eagle Scout and later as a member of the U.S. Army and Gulf War Veteran, I've spent a significant time outdoors. Being Outdoor Safe is key to having Outdoor Fun.

We’ve partnered with the preeminent Laboratory of Medical Zoology (LMZ), to offer a battery of tests to detect disease-causing microbes in ticks.  Your tick can be tested for over 20 different disease causing organisms that ticks can carry (like Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, and newly discovered diseases like Powassan, Heartland, and Colorado Tick Fever Virus). We now share that data as part of Tick-Borne Disease Network passive surveillance that we hope will provide unprecedented insights to who is being bitten by ticks, when they get bitten, and what pathogens those ticks are carrying.
